Salisbury University SMART Group Goal Discussion
For this activity, you need to write ONE SMART group goal with ONE SMART group objective for each of the following groups.
You are a social worker at a local elementary school and there are concerns about bullying issues amongst the 5th and 6th graders.
- Intervention Group: You have volunteered to run a group for 5th and 6th graders who have been identified by teachers and school administrators as being the perpetrators of bullying. Create a SMART goal and objective from either a 1) Learning Theory perspective or 2) a Constructivist (strengths/empowerment) Theory perspective.
- Task group: You are on an advisory committee made up of various school staff that is focused on the prevention of further bullying at the school.
